About Me
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno, studying sports journalism and photography. I’m writing for the student newspaper on campus, called The Nevada Sagebrush.
Growing up in Las Vegas, I never had a true, “hometown” sports team to root for, until the Vegas Golden Knights became an NHL team in 2017. Since then, I’ve found a passion for sports, and I love talking about different teams in different leagues.
For me, sports is a way to connect with people, from watching games with my family and friends, to simply talking about different teams with my professors and coworkers.

The Nevada Sagebrush
The Nevada Sagebrush is the University of Nevada, Reno’s student newspaper. The newspaper was originally published in 1893 as The Student Record. I joined the publication to write and take pictures for sports. Since February 2026, I have covered Nevada baseball, basketball, softball, and tennis.
Medium
Medium is a self-publishing website where people can write anything from news, sports, entertainment, and even their daily life. I started writing sports articles on Medium in February 2026, including articles about the National Hockey League.
